Electro-Mechanical Field Service Technician

Are you a skilled problem solver with a passion for technology and mechanics? Join our dynamic team as an Electro-Mechanical Field Service Technician!

Applied Dynamics is growing!  We are New England’s leading Industrial Sales & Service Company and are seeking to immediately hire for a Electro Mechanical Field Service Technician.  Electrical & Mechanical experience is preferred, but we are eager to train qualified individuals with electrical and/or mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities:

  • Travel to customer’s site to provide on-site services; including, but not limited to electric motor, pump, gearbox installation and/or removal
  • Provide on-site laser alignment services
  • Provide on-site balancing services
  • Provide preventative maintenance services; including but not limited to lubrication of equipment, oil sampling, belt adjustment/replacement
  • Collaborate with engineering and support teams to troubleshoot complex technical issues and implement improvements.
  • Provide top-notch customer service, ensuring client satisfaction through clear communication and professional conduct.
  • Keep detailed records of service activities, including reports on maintenance, repairs, and equipment status.

Requirements:

  • Technical degree or 5 years experience in the industrial maintenance field preferred.
  • Proven experience in servicing electro-mechanical systems, troubleshooting, and repairs.
  • Proficient understanding of electrical circuits, mechanical components, and control systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Hoist & Crane Technician

If you are interested in starting a new career, motivated to learn what it takes to be an expert in your field and have mechanical and electrical experience, we would like to talk with you. If you have previous mechanical experience and electrical experience relating to machines/equipment, we can provide the training needed relating to hoists & cranes.

Hoist & Crane Technicians travel daily to customers facilities in New England to perform OSHA compliant inspections, perform repairs, install new equipment and troubleshoot breakdowns. All travel is done in company vehicles assigned to each technician often leaving from your home straight to job sites.

Electric Motor Mechanic

New England’s leading electro- mechanical sales & Service Company is seeking to fill a position for a job shop machinist/mechanic. This position requires someone that fits with our company core values: takes a professional approach, leads by example, plays well with others, and demonstrates integrity in their actions.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years experience as a electric motor mechanic. Or are you an individual with a strong mechanical aptitude with a willingness to learn and a desire to grow with a Company? Applicants must be able to read and follow work instructions, inspect, diagnose and document results for a variety of AC or DC electric motors, pumps, and gearboxes. Skill set must include knowledge of basic testing and measurement instruments (surge, hipot, micrometers, etc.). A strong work ethic with a sense of urgency is a must for a service company. Pay is commensurate with experience.
